Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Partners with Blue Line Solutions to Enhance School Zone Safety

Prior to program implementation, a comprehensive speed study conducted across Richmond County school zones revealed consistent patterns of speeding behavior during active school hours. The study, conducted across multiple periods between late 2025 and early 2026, provided a clear, data-driven foundation for action.

This data confirmed what many communities across the country are facing: speeding in school zones remains a persistent risk that requires a proactive, consistent approach.

By implementing ASE, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is taking a step toward reducing dangerous driving behaviors while maintaining transparency and fairness in enforcement.
